Student art is the emphasis of two spring exhibits at Western Nevada College Fallon campus. A printmaking exhibit as well as the annual multidimensional student show are highlighting the gallery works.

Fallon Art Professor Gil Martin said a wide variety of styles and mediums are being displayed this year. Etchings, drypoints, monoprints, linocuts and collagraphs are featured in the Student Printmakers exhibit on display through May 2 in Virgil Getto Hall.

Fallon’s Annual Student Show is set for May 4-17. Students’ drawings, paintings, photographs, prints, digital art, sculpture and ceramics will be on display.

A public reception and barbecue will celebrate the student exhibit opening on Saturday, May 4, 3-5 p.m.
