The Western Nevada College Professional Skills Program is offering SolidWorks - Level One training this spring on the Carson City campus. The 3D drafting application is popular across a wide range of industries for engineering design, documentation and simulation.

The non-credit course will meet Mondays, Feb. 25 - June 10 (no class May 27), 6-8:45 p.m. Fee: $375 - includes textbook. It is offered through the college’s Economic Development and Continuing Education Center.

Experienced professional Bill Perez will begin with the basics of SolidWorks 2012-2013 and progress to more advanced topics. Classes meet in a lab setting with a workstation available to each student.

“We’re pleased to be able to offer this hard to find professional training and we’re very fortunate to have Bill Perez available to conduct the class.” Said David Steiger, WNC Director of Continuing Education.
