Classes Meet in Fernley City Hall

WNC Offers Courses in Fernley This Fall

Western Nevada College offers a series of interactive video classes at Fernley City Hall this fall that allows students to work toward a two-year associate degree or prepare for transfer into a four-year bachelor’s degree program. The classes will meet between 5:30 and 9:45 p.m., Monday through Thursday, beginning Monday, Aug. 27, and continuing through the fall semester.

Students may also choose from dozens of online courses that can supplement interactive video classes to achieve a degree or prepare to transfer to a university.

Interactive video classes offered this fall include:
Elements of Anatomy and Physiology (BIOL 200, class # 90975, three units), Monday, 7-9:45 p.m.;

Ancient and Medieval Cultures (CH 201, class # 80706, three units), Wednesday, 7-9:45 p.m.;

Composition I (ENG 101, class # 80268, three units), Monday/Wednesday, 5:30-6:45 p.m., also available as a FastTrack class for high school students;

Elementary Mathematics (MATH 95, class # 88185, three units), Tuesday/Thursday, 5:30-6:45 p.m.; and

General Psychology (PSY 101, class # 80715, three units) Tuesday, 7-9:45 p.m.
