Make use of some helpful tips.

Avoid The Flu! Take Precautions.

All members of the WNC community are being advised to take precautions to avoid contracting or spreading the swine flu, or other nasty germs. First and foremost, Wash Your Hands often. Then, try these handy tips:

1. Try not to touch surfaces that may be contaminated with the flu virus or other germs - bring out the hand and furniture sanitizers!

2. Try to stay in good general health - get enough sleep, especially as finals week approaches! Manage your stress with exercise and a healthy diet.

3. Avoid close contact with people who are sick. ( If you are sick, please stay home from work or class so as not to infect others around you.)

If you do think you have the flu, see a doctor to be tested as soon as possible. Symptoms include fever, cough, sore throat, body aches, headache, chills and fatigue. Some people have reported diarrhea and vomiting associated with swine flu.
