Carson Campus Security Alert

Suspect sought in parking lot incident.

Campus security personnel are asking for assistance locating a young white male who reportedly grabbed a female student from behind in the lower east parking lot Thursday at approximately 4:30 p.m, and inflicted minor knife wounds when she tried to pull away. According to the victim, the perpetrator was in his 20's, about 6 feet tall with a medium build, no facial hair, and no distinguishing marks or accent. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with the hood strings tightly drawn, dark "Dickie" type pants, and white shoes. According to the victim, the suspect called her "Michelle" (not her name), but when he looked at her face, backed away and ran in an unknown direction. Anyone with information about this incident should contact the Public Safety Department at 775-445-3308. Information may also be reported anonymously at 775-445-3258.

The Carson City Sheriff's Office is investigating an attach that occurred on Friday, April 4, 2008 between the hours of 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. in the lower parking lot. The attacker identified the victim as "Michelle" during the attack.
